A soldier from the 203rd Transportation Detachment shows some love to his family and friends as he, and his fellow soldiers, begin the long journey to Kuwait aboard the Maj. Gen. Robert Smalls, Logistic Support Vessel-8. The LSV-8 is the largest and most powerful water vessel operated in the U.S. Army. Army watercraft of the 203rd TC Det. are equipped, manned and operated by the Army Reserve. The unit falls under the 359th Transportation Battalion out of Fort Eustis, Va.
