Servicemembers assigned to Special Operations Command South and the 482nd Fighter Wing swim pulling two 50-pound ruck sacks across a 100-meter water challenge during the inaugural Special Operations Command South Warrior Challenge, Feb 18 at Homestead Bayfront Park, located about 10 miles south of Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla. Nine teams, consisting of two people, competed in the challenge consisted of a 100-meter swim, followed by a 2,000-meter kayak paddle and concluding with a 1,000-meter, 150-pound litter carry and eight-mile ruck march.
