The ceremony was held to honor Cpl. Jacob A. Tate, Lance Cpl. Joseph R. Giese, and Lance Cpl. Maung P. Htaik, all riflemen with Echo Company, 2/9, who were killed in action in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
