Sgt. Tracie Slempa, broadcaster with the 109th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, 103rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), and a Pittston, Pa., native, gets a rare opportunity to meet the famous college football coach Gene Stallings, at the tail gate during the Tostitos "Connect to Home" Bowl at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Dec. 21. Later the game was held by the United Services Organization in conjunction with the Tostitos Bowl in the U.S., and allowed service members to meet former National Football League players.
