Fort Bliss Soldiers Recognized for Accomplishments in Iraq

Col. Patricia Sellers, commander of 1-1 Special Troops Battalion, 1st Advise and Assist Task Force, 1st Armored Division out of Fort Bliss, Texas, congratulates a “Diamondback” soldier with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1-1 STB, for receiving an award, during the Diamondback award ceremony, on Contingency Operating Site Warrior, Kirkuk, Iraq, Oct. 5. During the ceremony nearly 120 “Diamondback” soldiers, were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn.
