U.S. Army 1st Sgt. Robert Beattie, first sergeant of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, “Diamondbacks” 1-1 Special Troops Battalion, 1st Advise and Assist Task Force, 1st Armored Division out of Fort Bliss, Texas pins Pfc. Alexandria Montevecchio, of the “Diamondback” Military Police platoon with a Combat Action Badge, during the Diamondback award ceremony, on Contingency Operating Site Warrior, Kirkuk, Iraq, Oct. 5. Pfc. Montevecchio also received the Army Achievement Medal and the Iraqi Campaign Medal during the ceremony.
