FOB PROSPERITY, Iraq – Standing in the King Cobra Dining Facility Oct. 25 at Forward Operating Base Prosperity in Baghdad's International Zone, Maj. Gen. James D. Thurman, commanding general, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, answers a question asked by Spc. Courtland Kilpatrick, infantryman, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division about militias operating illegally in Iraq's capitol. Thurman acknowledged to the Soldiers gathered for the special luncheon that Iraqi Security and Coalition Forces are working with the Government of Iraq to disband the illegal militias operating throughout the city.
