Arnold Martinez, head football coach and physical education teacher at Moanalua High School in Honolulu, and Navy pilot Lt. C. J. Simonsen taxi onto the flight line in one of the Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, Sept. 22. Martinez was one of several local figures awarded a key influencer flight in one of the Blue Angels. The famed jets, part of the U.S. Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, are slated to perform during the Kaneohe Bay Airshow here Sept. 25 to 26.
