Blue Angels pilot Lt. C. J. Simonsen prepares Steve Uyehara, morning news anchor for Hawaii News Now, for a key influencer flight in one of the Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, Sept. 22. Uyehara was one of several local figures awarded a key influencer flight in one of the Blue Angels. The famed jets, part of the U.S. Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, are slated to perform during the Kaneohe Bay Airshow here Sept. 25 to 26.
