Goetz, commander of the 644 Regional Support Group of Fort Snelling, Minn., came up with the idea for the prototype during a training exercise at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif. Datson and Dool, members of the 872nd Maintenance Brigade of Ogden, Utah, built the prototype during Combat Support Training Exercise 2010.
