Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class Brandon Rodgers, an electronics technician aboard U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Mohawk, hands a sand block to Coast Guard Seaman Apprentice David Boulding to be used for the foundation for a new kitchen for the Freetown Christian Faith Rescue Orphanage in Freetown. Crewmembers from Mohawk spent the day building a kitchen and repairing a shower at the orphanage during a port visit to Sierra Leone. Mohawk, homeported in Key West, Fla., is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
