Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Henry Konczynski, the engineering officer aboard U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Mohawk, builds a frame for a new kitchen at the Freetown Christian Faith Rescue Orphanage in Freetown. Crewmembers from Mohawk spent the day building a kitchen and repairing a shower at the orphanage during a port visit to Sierra Leone. Mohawk, homeported in Key West, Fla., is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
