The "Ambassadors" tug-of-war team, comprised of Misawa-based U.S. Navy Sailors and Misawa International Center volunteers, pull their way to victory while competing in a tug-of-war tournament during the Misawa City Tanabata Festival. This annual festival, hosted by the local community, celebrates the strong ties between Misawa Air Base and it's host city.
