Lt. David Perez, a Navy Information Operations Command department head, takes part in performing the Tokyo-Bayashi dance during a Bon Dance Festival hosted by the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force's Fleet Air Wing 2 at Hachinohoe Naval Base. The air wing invited a delegation of Misawa-based Sailors and family members to attend this festival, which is celebrated in Japan as a reminder for the gratitude the Japanese feel toward their ancestors.
