Huntsville, Ala., resident, Maj. David Worthy, and 1st Sgt. Eugene Parker from Mobile, Ala., display their unit's Welcome Home Plaque and Yellow Banner upon its return from a deployment to Iraq at Army Support Activity-Dix's B Company June 14. Their unit, 217th Military Police Company, whose motto is "Warrior Police," is an Alabama Army National Guard organization from Prattville, Ala. It conducted a mission where it trained and mentored the Iraq police around Baghdad, Iraq, and mobilized out of Dix last summer. The Yellow Banner is given to units who mobilize through ASA-Dix as a symbolic gesture that they are in the thoughts and well-wishes of the ASA-Dix community. The banner is hung in Infantry Park while the unit is deployed and given back to the organization upon its return from combat.
