U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Raymond Loriaux hailing from San Antonio, Texas, assigned to Bravo Company, 414th Civil Affairs walks among children in the village of Shwan near Kirkuk, Iraq, May 8. Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 3rd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division and Bravo Company, 414th Civil Affairs Battalion visited villages around Kirkuk to gather atmospherics by meeting and speaking with the locals about current conditions in the area.
