Soldiers from Alpha Company and Charlie Company, 2-325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, deployed from Fort Bragg, N.C., wait to board a plane home May 1. Maj. Gen. Simeon Trombitas, commanding general, JTF-Haiti, said goodbye to the Soldiers before they redeployed. 2-325th Airborne Inf. Reg. assisted in Operation Unified Response and was key in handing out food supplies and assisting in security. Trombitas told the Soldiers that when Haitians looks back on this time, they will remember the Soldiers' faces that handed out water and food and offered assistance during a national disaster.
