Minnesota National Guard Spc. Joshua Oanes of Fairmont, Minn. was promoted to sergeant by his sister Sgt. Christina Oanes during a April 16 ceremony at Camp Ripley, Minn. The siblings were at Camp Ripley to conduct weapons qualification with the 34th Combat Aviation Brigade based in Saint Paul.
