The Color Guard stands ready to begin the 89th Military Police Brigade Transfer of Authority Ceremony at Camp Cropper,Iraq April 24. The 89th MP Bde. wrapped up a their year in Iraq by transfering authority to the 49th MP Tactical Command Post and the 705th Military Police battalion. the 89th was responsible for overseeing the closureof Camp Bucca in Sep. 2009 and the transfer of the Taji detentiion facility to the Government of Iraq in March 2010.(Official U.S. Army photograph by SFC Roger M Dey)(released)
