Staff Sgt. (ret.) Brian Neuman, who experienced a grenade blast on a previous mission to Iraq, is welcomed to Contingency Operating Base Speicher by Maj. Gen. Tony Cucolo, Task Force Marne commanding general, and Command Sgt. Maj. Jesse Andrews, TF Marne command sergeant major. Neuman is in Iraq as part of Operation Proper Exit, which helps Soldiers who experienced traumatic injuries attain psychological closure.
