Service members take a moment of silence after the hanging of two wreaths for Veterans Day and Armistice Day during the Veterans Day ceremony at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Nov. 11. The ceremony included guest speakers U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Curtis Scaparrotti, commander of Combined Joint Task Force-82 and 82nd Airborne Division, and Retired U.S. Army Sgt. Maj. Dave Henderson, safety officer for CJTF-82, and a video presentation highlighting the efforts of the Armed Forces throughout history.
