Maj. Gen. David G. Perkins, commanding general of the 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson, discusses the opening ceremony of the 2009 Association of the United States Army Meeting and Exposition with Ron Taylor, the Fort Hood AUSA Chapter president, Oct 5. The Mountain Post sent its own compliment of leaders and Soldiers to represent the 4th Inf. Div. and Fort Carson at the annual event held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington Oct. 5-7. Perkins said the event is a unique opportunity for Soldiers to experience the Army Family and the fraternity of warriors.
