Maj. Gen. David G. Perkins, commanding general of the 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson, hands out coins to the members of The Mountain Post Men and Women Army 10-Miler Teams at the conclusion of the Army's traditional race in the nation's capital Oct. 4. The Men's 10-Miler Team finished third out of 37 teams in the Active-Duty Men Category and the Women's Team finished eighth out of 18 teams in the Active-Duty Women Category. Fort Carson Soldiers and leaders participated in the run the day before the 2009 Association of the United States Army Meeting and Exposition held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington Oct. 5-7.
