Spc. Kendra Hinds, a 21-year-old medic from Lubbock, Texas, deployed to Uganda with the 7225th Medical Support Unit, waits for the bus to take her to Pajimo Clinic. By the end of the day, Hinds had helped treat over 700 people –and was on the team that delivered a healthy child when a young woman went into labor at the clinic gate.
