A service member assigned to Joint Special Operations Task Force - Philippines salutes the traditional symbols honoring fallen Soldiers during a memorial ceremony for (from left) Sgt. 1st Class Christopher D. Shaw and Staff Sgt. Jack M. Martin, III. Both Soldiers lost their lives, Sept. 29, when their vehicle struck an improvised explosive device while conducting a resupply mission for a school construction project on Jolo island, southern Philippines.
