Capt. Jeffrey Tyer, deputy commander for Joint Special Operations Task Force- Philippines, salutes the fallen Soldiers memorial during a ceremony honoring two fallen Soldiers. He joined nearly 100 service members to pay last respects to Sgt. 1st Class Christopher D. Shaw and Staff Sgt. Jack M. Martin, who both died, Sept. 29, when their vehicle struck an improvised explosive device during a resupply mission for a school construction project.
