Family members of Warrant Officer Jason Conley, a native of Louisville, Ky., and a member of the 1st Battalion, 169 Aviation Regiment, visited with him during the Kosovo Forces 12 departure ceremony at Camp Atterbury, Ind., Sept. 23. Prior to being deployed, the Soldiers undergo extensive training in before being validated as a unit. KFOR 12 is a brigade-sized combat team comprised of Soldiers from 14 states and territories.
