Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf meets Petty Officer 3rd Class Moriba K. Weedor, Portsmouth Naval Medical Center, during a closing reception for Africa Partnership Station Swift's two-week medical civil action project. Weedor, originally from Liberia, was on one of the three medical teams aboard Swift in Liberia which treated over 2,000 people with free care, treatment and medications. Sirleaf thanked the Sailors and Soldiers and called Swift's mission a partnership of caring and sharing. Africa Partnership Station is an international initiative under Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Africa whose aim is to foster cooperation between U.S., European and African partners as a way to enhance maritime safety and security on the African continent.
