U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet

Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, speaking aboard the flight deck of Africa Partnership Station Swift, during a closing reception for the ship's two-week medical civil action project. The three medical teams aboard Swift in Liberia treated over 2000 people with free care, treatment and medications. Sirleaf thanked the Sailors and Soldiers and called Swift's mission a partnership of caring and sharing. Africa Partnership Station is an international initiative under Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe - Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Africa whose aim is to foster cooperation between U.S., European and African partners as a way to enhance maritime safety and security on the African continent.
