Three C-1t Globemaster IIIs sit on the flightline and await take off, Aug. 20. The C-17s are deployed from McChord Air Force Base, Wash. (left), Charleston AFB, S.C. (middle), and Travis AFB, Calif. (right). The C-17 is capable of rapid delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the deployment area.
