The amphibious assault ship USS Boxer, right, is underway with the amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans, bottom, and the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock. Boxer, Comstock and New Orleans, all ships of Amphibious Squadron 5, are returning to their homeport of San Diego after a deployment to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit are returning from a seven-month deployment supporting global maritime security.
