The amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans, left, the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer and the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock transit the Pacific Ocean. Boxer, Comstock and New Orleans, all ships of Amphibious Squadron 5, are returning to their homeport of San Diego after a deployment to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit are returning from a seven-month deployment supporting global maritime security.
