Staff Sgt. Terrell Washington, from Oklahoma City, Okla., non-commissioned officer in charge of the cooks with Company E, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, attached to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, moves a block of concrete to finish building a wall around the kitchen area at Joint Security Station Basateen, June 2. The Americans are working to improve conditions at JSS Basateen for the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 1st National Police Division before they move out.
