Joseph Thompson, an infantryman squad leader from Killeen, Texas, assigned to Company B, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, makes sure his squad is in the right place after looking at a map here in Sadr City, May 27. "The area is kinda grey," explained Thompson, who is on his fourth deployment to Iraq. "They aren't hostile, but they are a little standoffish. Although, a lot of people like us here, they want us here to continue to improve Iraq."
