Vehicles are transported on board a Landing Craft Air Cushion, to be transferred from USNS Montford Point (MLP 1), the Navy’s first Mobile Landing Platform, onto vehicle cargo ship USNS Bob Hope (T-AKR-300), the lead ship of its class. The vehicles include, two M88 Armored Recovery Vehicles, three Internally Transportable Vehicle-Light Strike Vehicles, three Internally Transportable Vehicle-Prime Movers with ammo trailer, and three armored Humvee expanded capacity vehicles.
