The Navy’s first Mobile Landing Platform, USNS Montford Point (MLP 1), and vehicle cargo ship USNS Bob Hope (T-AKR-300), the lead ship of its class, are moored alongside of each other during vehicle transfer operations held as part of Montford Point’s post delivery test and trials.
