U.S. Marines pose for photos following the cultural night performance by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) during the 10th iteration of the Pacific Resilience Disaster Management Exchange (DME) on Jan. 16 at Macun Barrack in Haikou, Hainan Province, People’s Republic of China. The performance included singing, dancing and a magic show by the Marines and Soldiers from both armies. The morale event proceeded the practical field exchange (PFE) joint training focused on air search and delivery, water surface rescue, debris clearance, search and rescue techniques and medical aid in response to a notional typhoon.
