Distinguished guests enjoy a performance by the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own" during the 2009 Non-comissioned Officer Parade at Whipple Field on Ft. Myer, Va., May 19. The purpose of the event was to honor 17 current members of the U.S. Congress who proudly served as non-comissioned officers in the U.S. Army prior to continuing their lives of service in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
