Captain Andrew Holmes motivates Rashard Causey Jr., a cornerback from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Darrell Taylor, a defensive end from Hopewell High School in Hopewell, Va., both playing for the East team, at the first practice for the Marine Corps’ Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl Dec. 31. Holmes said he is passionate about football and enjoys spending quality time with the players. The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl recognizes and celebrates selected players as exemplary athletes, youth leaders, high-academic performers and engaged community members.
