Lt. Vincent Capodanno's Medal of Honor hangs in the Capodanno Chapel at The Basic School aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, December 9, 2014. Capodanno was serving as a Navy chaplain with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment during the Vietnam War and was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions. The medal was recently donated by his family and dedicated to the chapel.
