A joint group of New York National Guard volunteers from the Air National Guard’s 109th Airlift Wing, based in Scotia, N.Y., and 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade, based in Latham, N.Y., assist in the loading of donated Christmas trees at Ellms Tree Farm in Ballston Spa Dec. 3. Nearly 20 volunteers turned out to help load some 160 Christmas Trees bound for military families at Fort Bragg, N.C. The effort supported Trees for Troops, a nationwide campaign to deliver donated trees to military personnel and their families across the country and around the globe.
