    Lance Cpl. Ricky Salgado ties a harness for himself before he crosses a rope bridge as part of the endurance course Nov. 25 at the Jungle Warfare Training Center on Camp Gonsalves. The endurance course is a four-mile course that includes rappelling, rope bridges, water obstacles and a simulated casualty station. The course is the final test for Marines after they finish the basic jungle skills course. Salgado is a rifleman with 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
