Hazmat team members Staff Sgt. Joy Bryant and Tech. Sgt. William Huston (suited up) from the 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard work with evaluators in an effort to clean up a simulated hydrazine spill during a Major Accident Response Exercise on Buckley Air Force Base. Members from the Colorado Air National Guard and the 460th Space Wing joined forces on Buckley Air Force Base to conduct a MARE training event. The exercise scenario was based on a simulated aircraft crash on base and evaluated the response efforts from the base fire department, hazmat clean-up team, security forces, as well as many others.
