Emergency Medical Technicians from Buckley Air Force Base Carlos Hildago, Kory Macklin and Jon Gaetos attend to a simulated downed pilot during a Major Accident Response Exercise on base. Members from the Colorado Air National Guard and the 460th Space Wing joined forces on Buckley Air Force Base to conduct a MARE training event. The exercise scenario was based on a simulated aircraft crash on base and evaluated the response efforts from the base fire department, hazmat clean-up team, security forces, as well as many others.
