Louisiana Army National Guardsman Sgt. 1st Class Mack McCoy of Bossier City, La., unexpectedly jumps out of a Zodiac during a simulated rescue mission at Grand Bayou Resort in Coushatta, La., March 27. Soldiers from C Troop, 2nd Battalion, 108th Cavalry Squadron in Coushatta, La., participated in water safety and boat training for search and rescue operations in preparation for the Guard's upcoming disaster response exercise, April 4. C Troop has been assigned search and rescue operations in Hackberry, La., for the DRX, which will validate the LANG's response plan and will better prepare the LANG for the upcoming hurricane season.
