Louisiana Army National Guardsmen from C Troop, 2nd Battalion, 108th Cavalry Squadron, in Coushatta, La., retrieve Sgt. 1st Class Mack McCoy from the water during a simulated rescue mission at Grand Bayou Resort in Coushatta, March 27. Soldiers from C Troop participated in water safety and boat training for search and rescue operations in preparation for the Guard's upcoming disaster response exercise, April 4. C Troop has been assigned search and rescue operations in Hackberry, La., for the DRX, which will validate the LANG's response plan and will better prepare the LANG for the upcoming hurricane season.
