A member of the 49th Civil Engineer Squadron participates in the force sled, also known as the Kiser sled event at the 2nd Annual Fire Fighter Challenge at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. Oct. 10. The purpose of the fire fighter challenge is to let the general public have a chance to try the everyday tasks that firefighters have to encounter. Some of the other events held at the challenge included a stair climb with a hotel pack, a 45-pound hose-roll pull, a serpentine run, a 100-foot hose pull, and a 100-foot dummy drag.
