Paul Kennedy, commanding general, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, converse during the course of action brief which is part of the Command Post Exercise of Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 15 in Palawan, Philippines, October 7, 2014. The command post exercise brings together Philippine and Marine Corps units to enhance communication with units throughout the battle space and gain awareness of situations as training scenarios develop. PHIBLEX is an annual, bilateral training exercise conducted by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, U.S. Marines and Navy to strengthen interoperability across a range of capabilities to include disaster relief and contingency operations.
