Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 122 load an external fuel tank on to an F/A-18 Hornet in preparation for the squadron's last training flight during Exercise Distant Frontier, Sept. 11, 2014, aboard Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Alaska was the last stop for VMFA-122 during their six-month unit deployment program with Marine Aircraft Group 12, based out of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan.
