An F/A-18 Hornet with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 122 takes off for the squadron's last training flight during Exercise Distant Frontier, Sept. 11, 2014, aboard Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Alaska was the last stop for VMFA-122 during their six-month unit deployment program with Marine Aircraft Group 12, based out of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan.
